Aston Martin Lagonda: A Precision-Driven, Luxury Workspace Renewal
Warwick / Automotive / 44 weeks / 90,000+ sq ft
Crafting a workspace with performance and precision
Aston Martin Lagonda sought more than a standard office update — they required a workspace that mirrors their iconic, design-led brand while supporting hybrid work, technical collaboration, and executive-level presentation. The ambition was to create a premium environment where furniture isn’t just functional, but a statement of craftsmanship, performance, and sustainability. Meticulous phasing and attention to detail were crucial to maintain continuity for key operational teams throughout the 44-week project.
Furniture as the framework for luxury and adaptability
Lume Interiors developed a high-performance furniture specification rooted in elegance, modularity, and material integrity. 10% of executive seating was refurbished, with leather refinishing and structural upgrades extending the life of premium pieces. Modular desking and collaborative engineering benches allow teams to reconfigure layouts with minimal waste, while breakout and touchdown zones feature recycled-aluminium frames and recycled-fibre upholstery. FSC-certified timber detailing and a curated material palette inspired by Aston Martin’s automotive finishes ensured visual continuity and reflected the brand’s heritage.
As Founder Keith Tiltman notes: “Designing a workspace for such a design-driven brand required precision and refinement at every level — the furniture strategy became the bridge between luxury, performance, and responsibility.”
A workspace engineered for people and brand
The result is a workspace that balances luxury, ergonomics, and sustainability. Modular systems are projected to reduce churn-related waste by approximately 30%, while new soft seating incorporates 42% recycled-content fabrics. Refurbished elements support lower embodied carbon without compromising premium standards.
The upgraded environment has enhanced executive collaboration and internal engagement, with teams and stakeholders reporting a stronger sense of connection and pride in the space. Every corner now reflects Aston Martin’s precision, craft, and design ethos, from workstations to lounges.
